Sunday, January 9

I woke up at 7:30 on my parents' sofa and felt ok - still majorly congested after 12+ hours sleep. Tried to do some work, but ended up passing out again on the sofa by 10. Woke up again, and it was noon. I headed home to try to get some stuff done at the house, and then went back to my parents' at 4:30 to watch the Eagles game. They made a turkey, and by Sunday night, I actually felt slightly hungry.

In bed by 11pm.
Saturday, January 8

Chicken with Steamed veggies from chinese (at parents' house - made best selection possible from a tough menu)

Again, a tough day. I had to be up at 6am to take my brother to the airport. The snow was falling all day but I still had brides coming into the office so I got myself ready and out the door. As per Friday, had zero appetite. I am annoyed with being sick. Even with this snow, I got two "can I come in today?" phone calls, so I figured I would take the girls. This put me in a back-to-back appointment schedule and by 4:30pm, I was ready to fall asleep at the table.

I headed to my parents house who were ordering Chinese. I wasn't really hungry but asked them to get me PLAIN chicken with steamed veggies. A highly tasteless meal, but I guess at least I got something to eat. Tried to run some quotes for the brides, but I was asleep on their sofa by 7:30, done and done.

No WOD for Saturday.
Friday, January 7

Unfortunately for me, I got bit by the cold that must be going around. I have had ZERO appetite for the majority of the week, and I have gotten a few hours of productivity at a time then needed a nap. Being sick and not being able to have OJ is really hard, so I have just be drinking water and tea for the most part. Sleeping has been the most integral for me, so I am getting well over 8 hours. Workouts are near impossible, as evidenced tonight - because I am so congested, I can barely breathe. I did half the WOD tonight and even that was tough.
